United won with a Rooney brace.Gillespie scored against his old club in the 13th min.Rooney scored the equaliser wirh some stuning touches in the 30th min.United had to wait till the 75th minute for Rooney to score the winner.With these two goals Wayne takes his goals tally to 6 in the 9 matches he has played this season.

With this win United sits at the top of the table, 3 points ahead of Chelsea,who beat West Ham 1-0.
